I created OffToUni because there is a wealth of resources for students applying to university, but parents and carers are often left scouring the internet, balancing their anxieties whilst trying to be the ‘calm expert’ for their children.
As a parent of four- with a third year and twins in their second year- I have lived the stress of the UCAS deadline, the sleepless night before results, the excited preparation and the quiet heart-ache of move in day. Even with my professional background as a Cambridge University graduate, qualified teacher and Careers & Higher Education Adviser in a secondary school, I quickly realised that supporting your own children through these life-defining decisions is an emotional roller coaster that no-one prepares you for.
This is the community I wish I’d had. It’s a dedicated hub where professional advice meets parental empathy, pulling together everything you need- from Application to Graduation- all in one place. OffToUni is here to ensure you have the tools to support them and the community to support you.
